Guess I’m shooting for 65k +TTL for a 252 FSH in the next 12-18 months.

i think I’m signing on the dotted line Tuesday before moms changes her mind. $61,399 with galv trailer, no freight or prep.
Guessing, not promising. September delivery:)

Blue AR250
Any freebees at that price , i was quoted similiar here in NJ , free mooring cover , coast guard kit , but still have to add tax and reg...but dealer was pretty confident boats arent gonna show up til oct or nov

I’m holding out to see if I can get $2k off during the boat show with no freight or prep. Or less if they include a cover cause I’d buy one anyways. that being said I think you’re getting a fair deal. I’d at least ask for a cover. I also like the blue one

Also at boat show you normally get the 5 year warranty thrown in!

Has anyone seen the AR 250 boat yet? Do the back rests on swim platform move or are they fixed? Frankly I think it looks cheaply done especially if they don’t move at all Like it appears they do on upper trim levels. I like AR240 Set up better. I was considering but may wait a model year for bugs to be worked out. Also wonder if you can get those seats in the water on this model. Seems they want you to upgrade.

You are correct that the back seats do not move on the AR250 and it does not come with the swim-up seats in the water. You have to go up to the 252 series (252S, 252SE, 252SD) to get those things.

Figures. I don’t care for it. I guess it’s still reasonable for a 24.5’ boat. You lose the fiberglass backing that was there. I guess I may see one at boat shows if they actually happen.

I’d be looking at the 252s if they didn’t make it in a poo brown interior! I’m hoping someone makes some aftermarket upgrades for the AR250. I was also looking at ordering OEM swim up seats off the 275 and modifying them to the AR250 but I think the price was $700+ after pricing them out.

There are two different options for the 252 interior, depending on which exterior color you get. The poo brown as you mentioned and a gray/white. FWIW, the brown is also on the 212 series and folks that have seen it in person say it's nicer than it looks in pictures.

Wow, first I’ve heard of two different options on interior colors. Good to know! I suppose I’d have to see it in person. Thanks for the info!

Just put deposit down on the AR250 ?

I think they should at least drop the freight and prep fees. Maybe have them throw in a cover. What color did you get?

Oh sorry I should have made this more clear, this was thier quote and I laughed and said I’ll keep my 2019 AR240 that I paid $58k OTD with a Galvanized Trailer. 100% not worth $10k more for me.

@sfadchi I am with you. That would keep me from upgrading at least for a while, till this market settles down and I can actually work some sort of deal. I don't feel like going up another $22k from my 210 to 250 right now. Especially what I am reading about the back seats.

What have you heard about the back seats?

I’m not spending over MSRP either! Good for you! What was the deal with the back seats?

Non movement. Also possible issues with mount and drainage (unconfirmed on this, heard it third person from someone at Yamaha). Could be nothing though on the this point. Reserved until someone actually gets ahold of one and can confirm this actually is a real issue.
