When I start the boat in the morning, I usually have to turn it over 3 times before it starts to hold an idle. It's embarrassing when it's brand new and friends watch it die 3 or 4 times when I try to start it. During the day it starts up fine every time first crank. I'm not sure if this is something common or not??

Mine did this - I think it was either battery voltage or just break-in period. I'm leaning more towards battery voltage. I did the 10 hr service about 3 weeks ago and installed a noco charger at the same time and haven't had any problems since.

My boat does this. Its worse in the winter. I have a California model which s***s. If you have no other issues it is because they run these things so lean like someone on here told me. If you trailer get them running before you put it in.

My 2020 has never done that. Maybe had to crank it twice the first start of the year after sitting for 8 months. I'd check the plugs and battery.

Noco charger ?

Noco charger ?
This is the one I got- if you have a dual battery setup the gen 5 x2 will charge both at the same time.

NOCO Genius GEN5X1, 1-Bank, 5-Amp (5-Amp Per Bank) Fully-Automatic Smart Marine Charger, 12V Onboard Battery Charger, Battery Maintainer and Battery Desulfator with Temperature Compensation https://a.co/d/3trrQDW

If the boat starts and dies it has nothing to do with the battery. Stale gas, plugged injectors, condensation, its something else. Mine starts and stays running.
