2022 255xd thinks it’s a 255xe!

I have a brand new 2022 255xd. Boat somehow thinks it’s a 255xe, which in turn is causing a stop steering failure.
has anyone experienced this?
so far the dealer has not been able to help in any way….

If anyone has a 255xd, can you post what this menu looks like for you?

There may be an internal setting to select the model boat the older models had this buried deep in the Connext settings.

Sorry had to swap profile, old one had a problem.

Boat has been at the dealer for 2 weeks. They updated the software, which now detects as 255xd, however the problems remain:

1) Drive system is not working - cannot get into drive mode for the paddle docking support.
2) Continuously throws a steering error code if no-wake mode is used. Dealer has already applied the fixes to cabling that are identified on this board.

The dealer has no idea on how to fix these issues, and Yamaha has been no help to the dealer.

Has anyone encountered this kind of problem?

This is a 2022 255xd which is brand new!
