I'm new to this. Not sure what you call this but I dinged it. Got to be cheaper to replace than repairing but its not listed as a replacement part at Yamaha. Thoughts?

Contact Yamaha direct? Dealer Not been able to get far yet.Screenshot_20240610_170757_Gallery.jpg

Took a quick tool through the breakout pics on a parts site; didn't see this as a part. Looks like fiberglass from the damaged part, which means that it very well may be a part of the hull. I don't think you want to replace the hull... so it might be repair time nonetheless.

It's fiberglass. But looks like that piece mounts on larger part of hull. You're right, parts site doesn't show it separate but it looks like it's somehow mounted.

Can you look/feel back that direction from the back hatch (or does that one even have a cleanout like mine...?)? If you could find a bolt or something, maybe if lady luck is with you, you can find a wrecked one at a junkyard.

Or at least take it off and just get that fixed (rather than being out the whole boat while they fix it).

I’m wondering if you could have that part 3D printed.

That parts shape would probably not be a part of the original mold.......but glassed on later after the hull was popped from mold. Definitely fixable by any good glass man. Hopefully insurance will cover.

Find a good fiberglass/gelcoat repair shop. That is an easy above the waterline repair. The seadek will need replacing. There should be a number of shops near your location.
