212S VS AR250

You have a lot of boat there..... If we upgrade that is the one we would be getting.

Ha! Found this video I think I’m running out of excuses!

The boat ran great. I think we hit 46 with 29% fuel. I noticed that the throttle handles being a little off from each other caused the boat to pull to one side or the other. I think that’s why there is so much talk about the sync but it’s easy to correct. We put the top up for shade and got some scratches on the tower. Do most folks put some rubber in that area or constantly repaint? The sea deck that’s stock I don’t think will last very long. We had the depth gauge get a warning at speed where we had 60ft of water under us.
Really surprising how high you sit up out of the water when you get on plane. The boat sits high already but when you get moving it feels like another 8-10”.
The back walk through area was great when we docked. That’s how everyone got on and off the boat. Surprised that getting the boat to walk over to the dock was pretty simple. Not sure how much that will change with a big wind.
Wife and I were paying a lot of attention to the boat noise and for us it was way more quiet than a typical outboard. Granted we typically rent pontoons. The pitch was low in my opinion and even at WOT it’s not uncomfortable or too loud.
Figured I’d share more of a review since I jumped onto @Fordman post. Can’t compare it to the 212S but I’d imagine top speed will be similar to the 40-44 with the boat loaded up.
