212X owners with Red Tower...need seat part #

I have the 2018 AR195 in Red and The Commodore wishes to add a Captain’s Chair in place of the bench. I would like to get the seat with the red accent piping, but I need the correct part number. If anyone is going by their boat that can post a picture of the seat and the tag on the seat, I’d be very appreciative.

Best bet is to call your dealer. Not sure where you're located. My dealer swaps out the bench for chairs all the time so you shouldn't have a problem.

I'd like to order the parts from Babbits and do the install myself. I don't how much confidence I'd have in my dealer (in Melbourne FL) to get the correct seat, but I suppose it is possible.

Well, the dealer (Melbourne FL) was no help. Never had done one. Also couldn't help with the color code. They search by hull #. Babbits said they also search with the hull #, which wouldn't help me as I'm using a seat from a different model.

So, I need either a hull # of a 2018 Red 212X or both seat part numbers. I think calling Yamaha directly will be painful.

Eureka! Problem solved! I tried a 212x VIN I found on an online ad with Babbits and they couldn't look it up. They gave me Yamaha Customer Service number. He was very knowledgeable and verified that DRDC color code is the red that I was looking for. Whew...
