Ordered some Jetboaters.net shirts and a flag from @Island Jay yesterday. Does anyone know the diameter of the rear Bimini pole so I can order the pole mounts for the flag? I’m not hip on using zip ties to hold it on.

just measure the place were your gonna install... could be 3/4, 7/8 or 1"

Thanks, I don’t have the boat at home to measure. I was looking at these and they seem to be about the sizes you indicated it could be.

Just measured mine, it's older but I'm pretty sure the same size. .9"

Thanks! I think what I found will work, and rather inexpensive.

What did you find?

Oh and BTW, don't use your anchor light as a flag pole. ;)

I was going to go with these.

Pretty sure the tubing diameter is 7/8", it was on our AR230. Easy to measure the circumference then divide by ? or 3.14. Our sailboat with a wider 10' frame is 1" s.s.

.9 measured above by @oakley24 is pretty close to .87" or 7/8".

That’s why I love this site, everyone willing to help one another!

Sidebar…FYI, Glad you referred to it as a pole, not a pipe. The pole is actually tubing, not pipe. Tubing is measured by outside diameter, pipe is measured by inside diameter.

I like the clarification, ID vs OD can make a HUGE difference. I do the clarification to people when it comes to fishing. When someone asks for a fishing pole, you hang a flag on a pole, and catch a fish with a rod. Maybe it’s a Midwest thing lol

yep!!! 1 1/2 sched 40 aluminum pipe is 1.900 nominal OD ~1.6 nominal ID exactly the material my wake tower is made out of and if you take 1 1/4 shed 40 alu pipe you can turn it down to 1.600 and make plugs to weld pipe together...

made these for a big power catamaran the other day.. had to have then NOW and then gave me the wrong length... had to add 20" LOL so much for doing a friend a favor LOL

That’s what I was thinking. I think the pole clips will be to cumbersome when dropping the Bimini for storage and may bend the frame pole a little
