Alright, I know a few folks have got the Maptuner X on their boats. 1 quick question.... is it worth it?

My current performance mods are:
Ribbon delete
L13 cones
6CW impellers
Smoothed/sealed my intakes
Haven't done anything to the intake grates yet, but I'm not against it.

My wife has said she's OK with another boat mod. Should the Maptuner X be it?

As a side note, I didn't buy a boat to save money on fuel, so I don't mind burning a little more of it each trip out.

And cue the opinions.......

yes maptuner is your next logical step based on your mods already. Order it tonight and you can have a few more mph by the end of next week :)

One of the things that @swatski posted regarding changing the tune of his AR240 was increased control of the rpm range. So, it was more gradual in relation to the throttle position. (If I’m explaining that right). I don’t think you would have the same issues on an X (e throttles) as compared to the manual throttles that aren’t as smooth. So... in that regard, it may not be worth it.

I don’t know anything about the other possible performance aspects.

Yeah. I've read his post multiple times, but can't decide if it's right for me or not.
