I recently drug this out of the barn and tried to get it going. It had a bad stator so I replaced that rebuilt the carbs, flushed the fuel system, and put in new plugs. Dry fired fine. Took it to a local launch ramp, backed it in the water, left it on the trailer, started fine, ran for 20minutes no problem. Took it to the lake to test when I got in starter would not turn engine over. Took out spark plugs all were wet with water, bottom was the worst. cranked it with no spark plugs, blew the spark plugs dry and installed. Engine fired and ran. Any guidance on where to look for where the water is getting in?
