About to buy Yamaha Ar210 need help

Just an update - looks like they did make 212X prior to 2012, as I've now seen some pics of these with the "old style" hull, like my 2011. Check out the 212X pic thread in this same forum.

I'm pretty sure the 212X first came out in 2008.

I was set on either a 212 or a 230, and would buy the first one I saw that was a good deal all around. Looked at a bunch, and when the 230 I bought hit the market, I bought it. No haggling. I would have been just as happy with a 212.

Christian,
Welcome to the forum.
Please spend a little time considering your truck capabilities before purchasing a boat. I am not sure but the Titan may not be able to safely pull a 5000 lbs 21 footer.

Alright so i was set on buying a yamaha ar190. Turns out they got a yamaha ar210 2011. he said the boat has been maintained there the entire time. says has no clue of the hours. he ecourages me to have someone look at the boat if i dont feel safe which is no problem. he rated the boat an 8.5 -9.0 out of 10. said he personally knows the owner he buys alot of toys from the store. he said come look at it and put a deposit for a test ride. im worried about unkown hours and is the dealer screwing me. price is 25900 and he said with a beacon score at a 840 i should be around a 6-7-8 percent interest rate. isnt that alot of interst for fenominal credit. also does it pay to get used vs new? im just scared. im 21 years old and dont want to make the wrong move.
Just bought a 09 sx210 yesterday. Paid 23,990 with rate @ 5.74. 144 month term.

My titan is rated to tow 9500 lbs. should be no issue with any Yamaha boat.

I tow my 2014 sx210 with a 4 dr jeep wrangler. Have put boat in on some steep ramps and never had a issue.
