Adding a Switch Panel to Yamaha Boats

This is an ideal spot but I was afraid there wasn't enough room behind that for the switches, but I guess there is. I hope there is!
That is what I am looking for but I wanted another USB outlet as well. Thanks!

How much room behind it? Plenty of room for the wiring depth wise?
 
@Bruce what did you use to make the cut for the panel? I have used a jigsaw but this is a little tighter space.
 
Wear earplugs with that guy! Effective, but loud.
