Adding hinged seats to LS2000

I think the OEM seat openS up reverse from how you have it opening. Is there a reason you didn’t put the hinge on the other side?

Fast forward to 59 seconds. They are hinged the same way I did mine. But you can see how the slight shape change of the seat allows it to avoid the grab handle and open to 90 degrees.

I think I’m going to relocate the grab handles to allow mine to open more, I’ll reuse the upper mounting hole for the handle. But I’ll drill out the lower hole and add some recessed lighting.

 
@4x15mph next we need to find alternatives to the storage in the gunwales @ 2:05 and the netting under the sun deck @ 2:30 ;)
