Has anyone put in Infinity Woven Vinyl as a snap in replacement for the carpet? Infinity Woven Products – Infinity Woven Products, LLC

I'm not a big fan of carpets and when they get wet they stay wet. I was thinking about seadek but I had it on my last boat and it got too hot for everyone's liking.

I'm not sure you meant it, but I love the pun of making a flooring tread :D :D

Neighbors had Infinity carpet on order for thier Centurion a few years ago. It never showed up before they moved and sold the boat. he had some samples that I got to see/feel, and it was an interesting textile for certain. Not sure if I would like it underfoot all the time or not. I do agree that the carpet, once wet, stays wet. Mine takes days to dry if I don't hang it up and let it drip dry.

I used a woven vinyl when I re-did the floors on my Chaparral. There are so many patterns and padding thicknesses you can get now. I cut it out in a couple sections to match the floor then had a local awning business sew an edging for me. Then I installed snaps. That is what they are using on most of the pontoon boats now and its really good stuff. Very cushy on the feet, doesn't get slick when wet. Water flows right off of it and its got great UV ratings. I really liked the outcome. I purchased a large sheet off ebay. Its pretty affordable too.

I looked at a bunch of different options from carpet to plastic snap together tiles. Wound up with the Woven pvc and it was great.

Sorry, I didn't use the Infinity brand, just found a reputable supplier of the sheets on ebay.

That sounds like a project :). I'm glad you like the results! I have seen a few places that are selling them from a pattern that you supply and they run about $600 bucks. Do you remember your costs and how long it took you to install?

the factory snap-in mats in my 2019 ar240 look to be a woven vinyl or pvc...tag says made by SYNTEC.
works great with water and dries fast....but blow around a bit at speed and gets really hot.
we're wanting to swap out for seadek

I would test out the seadek - leave it in the sun a while and see if you can walk around on it in bare feet. I know they are making improvements to make it cooler, but you will have to determine if it's any better then your vinyl carpet that you have now.

I think the fabric cost me around $150 and the sewing was another $100. Only took a couple hours to lay it out in the boat and cut the sections. Putting the snaps in the edging was the hardest part.
