I'd pick a littel heavier type face to use. Those fine lines will not be wide enough. There are several great faces that would work. This comes from 25 years in the printing business.

They look pretty good in the SeaDek material.




Edit: it's important to note... This name isn't for boats to be able to identify me with. The craft is not large enough to register w/ the coast guard. It's more for the experience of the boat and to personalize it. I think it's perfect! but I absolutely get what you mean by suggesting a more expressed font than Edwardian Script ITC normal with sharp edges. 364 point
