Went from Scarab 165 to AR195. No regrets at all. Glad I sprang for the 195 over the 190. I feel like I may have regretted getting the 190 if I went that route.
I may be in the minority but I like the small boat feeling, quick turn radius and wake jumping. The Scarab 165 was just a little TOO small unfortunately. Especially in choppy waters it would really beat me up. Limited storage for tubing and stuff also. The AR195 is a perfect size.
The only thing I miss is the super tight turning and reverse on the Scarab, that boat is a lot of fun, but I kinda expected it. Don't really feel like I want any larger TBH. I've always been a smaller sports car kinda guy
