Any scupper doctors on call?

The nut on the scupper rolls on pretty easy with your fingers if you don't apply any sealant to it but to the inside wall of the transom. Plus when you get to the final tight down the scupper has a nut cast right on the neck to aid in the positioning.

I went ahead with installing the short scupper and will replace the drain hose with a new longer section. It is $4-$5 per foot. The hose is just over 5 feet long so buy 6' attach at scupper first and then trim and install at the floor drain. I may even put a little extra slack in it for more access in the "engine room". Check out my silicone "plug"...the scupper could barely drain anything. Also, no regrets paying way less for the short scupper and spending the savings on new hose...yuck! Used 4200FC since it was available in town at Academy. Thanks for the help as always!

Dang that is shorter..way shorter..looks great. Congrats. @Seadeals . What shape was your OE scupper in?

@Seadeals you may want to consider a smooth bore drain hose, rather than a corrugated one, as it will drain quicker and not retain water in the corrugations making the hose lighter as you're bouncing over the waves possibly causing hose failure.
