The wiring harness on my 21' 195S Shorelandr trailer has some dry rot and I'm thinking about replacing it. Just wondering if anyone else has done this and if there are any tips?

Thanks!

solder and shrink wrap wire connections, add convoluted wire cover where it goes through the folding tongue hole.

I'm guessing it's the black sheathing over the interior wires that's cracking. My only tip is to check the actual wires to see if there's any issues, and cover the cracked black sheathing and leave it alone. Some liquid electrical tape may be more appealing to the eye, but I'm not sure how well it'll fill/cover the cracks. When it's truly bad, then swap it. Soon enough, it'll need it
