I just replaced my engine in my 2007 AR230, ran fine for a week, then shredded the woodruff key. Can anybody confirm the factory replacement key is 90280-03047-00 with flat edge? The flat edge key doesn't seem to match the key slot on the shaft and flywheel, which is my concern. Not exactly sure why it shredded, but the fly wheel bold/washer was not replaced when the engine was replaced, and per the service manual it states not to reuse. Putting new flywheel bolt in this time.

Confirmation on the woodruff key from someone who has replaced it would be helpful.

Also, which direction does the flat edge go? facing in or out?

@Neutron may be able to verify which way that key is installed.
