Isn't that supposed to be attached to a ground on one of the batteries?
AHHH! Makes sense. Yeah I found out as well with that wire attached it turns on the LED for the DVSR when I hook up one of my tenders to the batteries. Took that off and hooked them up as normal and it goes off. Interesting finding.....new to the dual battery setup. Still trying to figure out what's normal and what's not.

I just finished mine, it was 18 or 20.Shameless bump on me question here. Can't be 14, that is too thick. I'm asking about the skinny ground cable
