We’ve been using the versa-lounge on our 215 a bunch this summer. Yesterday my daughter pointed out that staples were pulling out of the seat where you grab and lift to lay it down. Tore into it this morning and pulled the top section off of both rear seats. There were 5 screws in each cushion; 2 fore, 3 aft. Somewhere around 1/3 of the staples were not holding anything. They were mostly at a 45 degree angle or so, and didn’t even penetrate the plastic support

The staples were 1/4” which should be fine, but they were on such an angle they didn’t grab anything. This was like this from the factory. My guess they used a pneumatic stapler that was too big to fit between the front and back sides. 45 was probably the best they could do. The top cushion is u-shaped and fits over the top of the back seat. I was able to get my stapler between the cushions and staple at 90 degrees. I had 3/8” stainless staples, so that’s what I used.
Also, all of the bolts that hold the cushions onto the hinges were loose. I applied Loctite and tightened them back up.
Poor assembly.....but at least the staples are stainless steel, and the supports are not wood.
