I need beginner help on my Yamaha 212XE ballast system. Although the screen system indicates the bags are "filling and draining" there is no pomp noise and the center ballast in ski storage is visibly not filling. Where are the side ballast tanks? can i see them? any ideas? It's rather disturbing that the center console control does not give and accurate measure of the ballast status (or levels) - especially since i'm returning each trip to a dock lift.

any help is appreciated -

The ballasts are all measured crudely by time. There's no fill level in there or anything. If yours has hard tanks for the rear, which I believe it does, open up the rear seats, you should see the hard tanks if you look towards the rear of the boat. First thing I would check is to make sure all the pumps are plugged in. Second thing would be a fuse blown.

My son made a jumper cable he is in college now I should see him in three weeks so that I can bring his tools and supplies he had three cables to make for other members. Its a good tool to have to deal with the timer issues and trouble shooting
