This is the fifth time I’ve reinstalled batteries after taking them out for the winter. Somehow yesterday in my infinite wisdom I installed them backwards, connecting negative posts to positive cables and positive posts to negative cables. I flipped the blower on and then had to find my hose adapter (why didn’t I buy a spare one of these) and ran out of time so I turned the blower off and forgot to switch off the house and start switch.
Today I went to start it, flipped the blower on and it seemed a little low but otherwise ran. Hit the key and nothing. Hit the other key, still nothing. They’re not even attempting to turn over, click, anything. I figured out my backwards batteries mistake and still the same exact issue. Both batteries are testing above 12.5v with my meter.
I have a dual battery setup from the factory and there are no fuses inline in the battery compartment.
Any ideas?
