Yep right there at the public ramp. Was a good time, ran up to Milwaukee, up the river and back. It's not bad if you are careful. Choose a nice day.

That would be a good time, I may have to plan that out at some point this summer. Do you have to have anything on the boat for coast guard requirements on Lake Michigan.

Nothing specific that you shouldn’t already have on the boat per CG regs as far as safety equipment. I recommend a VHF radio also, but I recommend that anytime you are operating on a commercially navigable body of water anyways. Even a handheld one is probably ok unless you decide to cross to Michigan lol.
