I have a 2017 AR 190 with about 80 hours on it. Before pulling the boat out of the water today I went to spray Liquid Rollers on the bunks. I noticed that the bunk carpeting was already starting to wear through to the boards in spots(mainly closer to the bow).

Has anyone else had this concern/issue on such a new trailer? If so, is it my loading and unloading technique? If you think so, what do I need to change?

Any recommendations on carpet brand to use when replacing? Any other tips to extend the life of the bunk carpet?

Any and all help or tips will be greatly appreciated. I don't want to have to replace bunks or bunk carpeting every season.

Thanks in advance.

My carpet wore out quickly too. I'm trailer boater... on and off several times a week, usual summers its 1-2 trips per week. I switched to some nylon bunk covers from etrailers. For $30 I attached them over my bunk carpets. Super slippery.

Wow, @mark_m , that needs more than carpeting... ;)

I looked and could not find the bunk covers on etrailer. Do you have a link? Greatly appreciated!
