I'm trying to find where to buy Teflon runners in Canada. Looking to replace the existing carpet as it is very hard to unload 242 Limited jetboat. Found what I needed but it was a USA distributor who doesn't ship outside continental USA

I wonder why it's hard to unload - my 252 slides right off. I can pull it off by myself with ropes.

Thanks but you must have a steeper slopeand deeper water for it to come off so measily. Not the case at my slip and same for others that have jetboatrs and use it. Reverse thrust on jet boats suck.

How steep is the ramp? Even on more level ramps I will back up until at least rear wheel wells are underwater, I then will unhook chain and winch then push the boat back by hand. (Solo launch). If you have two people, the power brake method works 100% of the time no matter what. Can't fight physics there lol.

You could try these. Www.ultimatebunkboards.com

I put them on my mfi trailer but they started to liquify my gel coat on bumpy roads so I carpeted them and use the spray product liquid rollers occasionally

Yup, I think that was the consensus on UBB and HDP on our hulls was worse in the long run. Silicone spray (same for your cleanouts) or liquid rollers was the best option at least once if not twice per season.

One thing I will say about the UBBs is that they are not as rigid as regular 2x6s and the boats weight gets support more towards the bunk supports then evenly distributed across the board.

I see it on Amazon.ca and it is $75 for a 12 oz spray can. For 24 foot boat, how far would that go to spray the trailer bunks? Would one do it?

Liquidrollers runs from about 12 to 16 bucks. I might try something call blaster silicone spray for 5 bucks next time. I usually use about 3/4 can when I coat my bunks.

Great thanks. I see it for 15 to 20 bucks from a few US distributors (some from Amazon show not available) but after exchange rate and shipping, it is still is pricey. But I will get a can and give it a try...thanks
