So they say we can go out on the water and then they close all the ramps.

Rode around towing the boat for 3 hours and 15 minutes checking all ramps around Chattanooga.

Found one that was open and the gravel lot was already full and in total disarray. Nowhere to park and know that someone with less than acceptable backing and trailering skills wouldn't tangle up with other vehicles.

It was my daughter's last day of spring break and she has an extreme case of cabin fever. She begged to keep looking for a ramp.

We got family time together, but the boat never got wet.

Pulled back into the driveway, hopped in the boat, turned on the radio, had a beer and a picnic in the boat.

I don't understand the logic of closing boat ramps. Do they think I'm gonna hop out of the truck and kiss the boater next to me?

That sucks. Not sure about there but it’s amazing here how people don’t know or don’t care about the 6 foot rule. I can only guess maybe that’s one of the reasons they’re closing ramps...

I don't understand why they don't just enforce boats split up if tied up. No need to close the lakes. They don't close grocery stores. They should just enforce no large groups on boats. We aren't doing anything on the boat that we aren't already doing confined in our home. We don't go and hang in the party coves and tend to keep to ourselves so it's really no different than being at home.

Also stupid they closed the "green spaces" in parks here but left the walking trails open. Hello....that just means more people in a tighter confined space than letting people spread out. Local state governments are stupid is as stupid does.

50 ft boat to boat restrictions here in FL..This is ALL so SILLY, tired of looking at the REAL numbers vs. the response to this. JMHO, it just doesn't add up.

I just read where surfers in Cali were being arrested. Last time I checked surfers are pretty isolated while waiting for a wave. Then I read where in Kentucky police are actually putting GPS tracking ankle braclets on people who test positive for the virus, granted none of these tests are 100% accurate. People being arrested in NY for not social distancing far enough from others. I thought state officials were saying at most you would get a fine or possibly some small jail time if you constantly disobeyed orders but seems police state is in full effect in some areas. Shit maybe this is all a coo to bring in communism and police state lol.

Even in my state where the governor just issues stay at home orders, my local city/town is adding to their orders where the governor said they supersede local and county orders. So who's driving the bus here? They put a curfew from 11pm to 6am and that you just have your essential papers if you're out during the curfew. Um most people in my town work outside the county and if we have to be at work at 6am that means we are leaving the house no later than 5am. So help me god if I get pulled over for going to work in this craziness I will lose it. Hope no power trip ego cops pull over the wrong person,

I can see this spiraling out of control real quick, faster than the virus for sure.

It’s a legal mess that’s for sure. At any rate, we are closing in on boating season here in the north, as of now most docks aren’t in yet but if they delay that and shorten my already short season somebody is going to have a problem.

It’s frustrating for all of us but I can tell you that I talk to my son who’s a paramedic in Toronto and this thing is VERY serious. He‘s bringing in patients with Covid 19 everyday and he says the ICUs there are full. It’s very scary so please be careful everyone.

All lakes in CA closed also.

Our local fish & game club has one of 2 ramps on the lake with lots of parking. They closed.

So everyone is crowding at the municipal ramp with parking for only 15 vehicles, so parking is flooding into the street and impeding traffic....at least there is no one there to collect the fee.

Ouch man that sucks. Ours are still open here in Knoxville. Plus we have a private ramp for our lakehouse community so no hassles there. We went out Sunday for a little Southern Social Distancing.

Got a link to that story?

Been several locals that think this is way blown out of proportion and "It's just hte flu" curious if it's from my area or not.

You can google search it to see many different news outlets reporting on the judge order In Louisville, KY.

Here is one local to KY I think but it’s on CNN, Fox and other sites too Louisville judges now putting defiant COVID-19 patients on house arrest. One of the people did not test positive but lives with the person who did so they are making them wear it as well. Total craziness. I suspect there will be a lot of law suits when this is over.

Oof. Hoping to start our boating season this weekend. EPNOC grease coming in for my L13 cone install on Friday. Hope the ramps are open!

I told a family member today: "I can handle all the of the shelter in place crap - but if they close the boat ramps when it's warm in WI, there will be blood."

Here in NJ we are in week 4 of lockdown. All Non Essential businesses are closed. All public boat ramps closed. Unless you rent a slip you are out of luck. I was out on Sunday, 59 degrees a bit cold but well worth it as there is zero to do otherwise. Stay safe everyone.

I will be right there with you! Today gave me spring fever for sure!

Ramps are closed here in Miami.

Yeap, that's the one I was thinking of. Right across town from me.

If you have it, and knowingly spread it, how else should we, as a society, respond to that. On one end you could argue that it's attempted murder, or perhaps involuntary manslaughter if someone he contacted died of the disease. On the other hand, putting him on house arrest for running a fever does seem a little extreme. I suppose we all have our own line to draw there and I, for one, am not going to fault the judge for being overly cautious in this scenario.
