Clean out plug rebuild kit

2018 yamaha ar195. Wanted to see if anyone else has had issues with 2018 ar195 cleanout repair kit not working. I ordered a yamaha branded one but the rubber ring is larger then my clean out plug and doesn't have the center screw tab on plastic piece.

you may have ordered one for the earlier push button plugs that were discontinued in 2017 and replaced with the twist in plugs that your boat should have if it is a 2018

That's what I was thinking so I looked up 2017- 2020 repair kits and they are all the same part number. I ordered a second one from different different supply house and it was exact same as other one. I guess I have to order entire new cleanout plug.

you have the new twist in plug if you own a 2018 and to my knowledge there is only a bottom half available for the 2016 and older as they went to the twist in. in 2017.

2018 AR190. Seems like this is all that is available... I was hoping to get a full new plug. Any way to do that?

I'm thinking of doing a test - If I put my current plug in and fill water on top of the plug... if my plug is sealed properly it shouldn't leak right? Has anyone tried this?
