Connext screen won’t turn on 2017 212limited S

Help please...
I replaced my batteries this weekend. My boat starts everything works but sound system and Tacs . Connext screen will not go on it stays on the Yamaha display.

Did you try holding the system button for a few seconds to enter the diagnostic mode.
I believe there is a screen reset option

I did not...are you talking about the system control button below the touch screen?

Yes exactly. Holding it puts the screen in diagnostic mode.

Its been a while but once in the screen. Just look around on the screen. There should be a reset option

I will be giving it a try this weekend when I go to my boat storage...your help is very much appreciated. Do you if the tacs are powered by the screen?

Not sure, i would think they are separated but wouldn't be surprised it they are tied into the screen as well

I just went through this on my yamaha 2015 242 limited s. Engines would start up and run normal but the connext display would just stay on the white yamaha greeting screen and the tacs would not work. The only way the dealer was able to fix it was to replace the whole display.

I’m going through the exact same thin tn on my 2015 limited S.
how much did it cost? And when they changed the display, everything worked fine like normal?

I had failure of Connext on my 2016 242 Limited S. Yamaha dealer said only way to fix the issue was to replace the Connext screen. that took care of the problem, and all is working well once again. $2500.
