Hey guys. I need to change the coolant in my 2002 Northriver Commander. It has a 5.7 marine power 5.7 vortec with a ram air and a Hamilton 212 pump. Obviously the drain plug is on the right side low on the block. Question is there is not much room for a drain pan to catch it. Is there a trick? Can I pump it out somehow? Not really wanting to fill my bildge with coolant

Not sure what you can fit down there to catch the coolant, but I use one of these extractors for oil, water and sucking up spillage from a broken blackwater tank from deep in the bilge. Worked great. Extension tubes and adapters are included. If your drain allows you to limit/adjust the release of the coolant, this will work.

Welcome to the forum.

What are you trying to do exactly ?
I have no experience with that boat but most jet drive boats use fresh water in from the pump and push it out the exhaust .
Does this boat have a radiator or a closed loop cooling system like a sea doo jet ?
