I would assume this will work on a 2010 AR240? @jcyamaharider
Put me on the list to get one.

@jcyamaharider here are some measurements for the 19' swim deck.

I put the end of the tape just before the seat cushion back wraps around and where I would assume the bag edge would be....

Width....

Since the swim deck is like a big radius I wasn't sure where you wanted the depth measurement taken from so I picked port, midsection and starboard side of the bag...

Lower swim deck height....

The upper swim deck also has a slight curve so I took measurements of both sides. I purposely kept the end of the tape a few inches away about lined up where the cushions stick out...

Height from upper swim deck to top of seat back/hatch...

@haknslash with those measurements we are looking at 505 pounds so with swell probably around 550 pounds. Will that work? I can post up a pdf for you to review if you think it will be ok.

I think it would be ok and make for a nice extra listing bag. We could always go a little wider for more capacity but I like being able to keep the walk thru clear. 550 works for me as the larger bags I would lay on my bench seats. Any other 19' guys have issue with 550 lbs and keeping the walk thru unobstructed?

Yup it checks out fine for me. BTW not important but one of your leader dimensions has a typo for "welded". Just wanted to let you know for when you send it to WM. ;)

Wakemakers has nothing to do with these bags. They come directly from FATSAC.

Ah gotcha :winkingthumbsup". For some reason I was thinking this was going through WM. I haven't read all of the thread and only came into it at the end ;)

I have edited the opening post of this thread to adequately reflect the evolution of this project, and where it stands today almost a year after creation.

I have also changed the name of the thread to remove the "(Port Side)" connotation since this has evolved into a more universal application.

Putting this here for full disclosure so folks that do not go back to read page 1, know that it has been updated.

***Updated 4/26/18 - This thread has evolved quite a bit since it began. . . The ballast project has been made a reality by @jcyamaharider and is going to be good for EITHER side with the recent shape adjustments. As such, the title has been updated and I have entered this note here. Feel free to enjoy reading through the thread. I just wanted to be clear this is no longer a Port side only project***

Glad to see the excitement around this project and thankful for @jcyamahariders wife for letting @jcyamaharider take this on and bring it to fruition!
