Drotto or Ramp-n-clamp for FSH

So here is my setup. Keep in mind I bought it this way a little over a month ago.

I do have to climb up it when loading which I dont like. I think if I adjust the winch stand head down a bolt hole, it would bring the drotto down and forward (aft really) enough that a smooth glide onto the bunks will catch easily. I think it would also set the winch strap in a flatter position in case i want to crank it on. Right now the strap feels to me that it is angled up slightly too much.

I am sending this over to drotto today as well. Their adjustment video is demonstrated with a shorlandr trailer and winch stand. In the video he does say that if you are climbing the catch and release, most likely you need to adjust down. The only way I can do that is changing the angle of the stand head.

There is also a second hole on the drotto that changes the mounting location, i may play with that as well. My thought is that I want the drotto roller as close to location of the original roller relatively speaking.

Not 100% sure if I want to launch the boat to do the adjustments or just unch it back a bit so i can make sure the drotto fits against the boat correctly.

Previous owner told be I should have 2” of bunk showing outside the transom. Shorlandr says flush and a thread here suggests 2-6” of space to the bunks on the bottom.

Playing with boat position just a bit, it tows perfectly with 2” of bunk under the boat, it still bucked a little at flush, but I do have a 77lb trolling motor and live foot on the bow, so i should be very very close on correct tongue weight.

All thoughts, comments and suggestions welcome. Even those that say take the drotto off and go back to stock 🤪
