Thank you. I'm going to test it this weekend. So far I'm lucky, my boat stays bone dry. I'm concerned, that sucker seems small. May add another later. I'm not too worried about taking on water, more from a blown hose etc. Scupper valve showed up yesterday. Will also be replacing the anchor drain this weekend.
What fitting are you using to fix the anchor drain? Do you have to drill out a bigger hole? My anchor drain leaks, I couldn't find the right fitting to fix it, so I have it plugged with silicone for now.

I am no expert, but this VSR appears to be a like version of the Blue Sea ACR. When I googled your VSR I found a wiring schematic showing a line to ground, and for your boat, I think that would be your negative battery terminal. Someone much wiser than me may comment otherwise if you give it some time.

My understanding is that our boats being what they are, you can’t really ground electrical components anywhere like a car. As such everything is typically grounded to the battery negative terminal or to a negative terminal bar, that in turn is grounded to the battery negative post.

Yes that's the negative connection wire for the VSR to power the VSR which connects both batteries for charging when the engines are running.

I’m new to jet boats are you supposed to run the blowers all the time I just run them for a few minutes before I start it?
Same rules as any inboard engine - run for several minutes before starting engines to get any fumes out that could ignite and cause a fire. Once cruising around, you can turn it off. My boat is all electronic so I have to navigate to the blower "switch" so I just leave it on when the engines are running. Two things that I think should have manual switches - blowers and bilge.

Both batteries should be connected with a heavy gauge black ground wire between them so it doesn't matter which one.
