depends on the size of the leak-it could leak enough to misfire but not obviously show in the oil-the best comparison would be a supercharged engine with a leaking intercooler. Though not a direct comparison since the intercooler leaks into the intake. An internal leak in a water jacketed exhaust can cause similar misfire issues.@ Gozills Would that show up as water in the oil or oil in the air box? I do not think the engine overheats.
I dont think I’ve ever noticed it missing on the hose, but no I haven’t tried it yet.Did you put it on the hose and see if it is still missing?
