I've been a lurker for some time, finally got around to making an account. I'm from Florida, live in Florida now but have also lived in Mississippi and Louisiana which was fun. Anyways, my girlfriend bought me a 2022 Scarab 165 ID 300hp with all the bells and whistles for my birthday. Fun looking boat. Problem is, I'm very much a beginner. I used to play around on XP's and Speedsters when I was a teenager but I never owned any of them so I'm going to have a lot of questions and hopefully give people some answers when it comes to the 165. I picked up my boat yesterday and the goodie bag with all the instruction manuals (read all of them 3 times and Scarab if you're reading this, stop being cheap and separate the manuals by model because half of that book doesn't pertain to me). And there were these two rubber pieces. Now, I'm such a greenhorn I've actually hired a captain to take me out so I can safely learn how to operate the vessel, no sense in me putting people's lives at risk because I want to get out there on the water...nope, none at all (god I want to drive my boat lol). So I was wondering, if anyone knows...what the heck are these? Thanks for the help and I'll definitely be seeing everyone around. Have fun this weekend!
