First build attempt - Fresh water/wash down tank - Looking for input.

I completed my first attempt at building a simple fresh water/wash down tank that's main purpose is to hopefully reduce my boat cleaning time at the end of my trips. Currently, I pull the boat out, take it to dry storage and spend an hour or so cleaning it. Then it needs to sometimes sit a day uncovered to dry which mean I go back the next day and cover it. That's not a huge deal as the storage is 1 mile from my home.

However...

I thought if I could take the boat out and while the salt water is still "fresh" (if that's a thing) and clean the boat at the docks, I could tackle that problem plus it'll be dry on the 30-45 minutes trip back to storage. I could then save a ton of time plus an extra trip to cover it.

Nice job On the tank I have a small tank of water with a pump that I use mainly as a shower to rinse off . My typical day out is fill the container with 4.5 gallons of hot water it lasts the entire day then when the boat is pulled out I use whats left to rinse off the jet nozzles swim deck and breaks. One day the water was choppy and we didn't use the water to shower so I ran it around and rinsed the entire boat then took a car detail squeegee and wiped off all the water to eliminate spotting then a quick wipe down with a microfiber towel. The boat was amazingly clean the squeegee pulled water scum off the hull that usually dries and needs a stiff brush. 17 seasons on salt water trying to speed up the clean out process this has been the best way. Water pressure form my house would not remove salt residue unless a soapy brush was used. Another thing that helps longevity of the trailer is keeping a small landscape sprayer filled with a solution of salt away after dropping the boat in spray the breaks, leaf springs, lug nuts and boat buckles .

Back storage area was slightly modified to fit the Kahuna water tank it allowed the tank to slide in and out without tipping

Changed the stock coil hose so it can reach further the tank comes with a long 12V Lighter cord it can easily be moved for one side of the swim deck to the other and with the longer hose you can reach very close to the bow

Added a 3 bank lighter plug extension to the the stock plug that was difficult to reach it has push button on off for each port. This turns the pump on and off from previous use last season I realized the kids would sometimes leave the switch on. Plugging and unplugging was a pain and the switch is great so we installed a piezo buzzer that lets off a tone to let you know the pump is energized
