Have you guys seen these goofy things? https://www.floatypants.com/

Whenever we hang out in the cove, we wear our life jackets like diapers. Maybe we should have patented that design! But I doubt we are the only ones who do that.

Anyway, what do you guys think about the floaty pants? Who is going to contact them for a group buy!?

Seen them at the last boat show, but like you said, I wear my life jacket upside-down.

Interesting but I wouldn't ever let someone else wear mine...it's like sharing a bathing suit. Also, I wouldn't buy any spares for guests either. Wearing something like that generally means your hanging out in the water drinking and when it comes time to blow out the bilge......well...

Yes we have some of the "Lazy Bunz" like things. Saw them at a boat show. We love them for floating around.

OMG.... all these ridiculous "Devices". What's wrong with a good old fashioned pool noodle?

Oh you know... noodles are just too old school for some now a days...

LOL....but they are ubiquitous like duct tape.... saving table posts, preventing head injuries, roof rack pads....geez.... why WOULDN'T you want to use them as drunken-boater-floaters?

We use noodles, easy to store and dirt cheap.

We use noodles too. Cheap and easy to put away wet in the ski locker. They also make for fun squirt guns as my daughter found out around in this video :D

That being said I wouldn't mind a more stable device like the lazy bunz and it would be better to put away than a soaked life jacket.

We have 4 of the extra large Overtons water saddles. They're great. Noodles are fine, but these are so much better for long term soaking.

I also made tethers out of paracord and small aluminum clips so we can keep from floating away.

I wasn't sure if they would be worth the money to go with something like the Gail Force, but they totally are. When these die we'll get nicer ones like those.

I have something like the gale force, love it, works better than a noodle.

Whatever works! We also like the cooler float http://store.gailforcewatersports.com/Yellow-Connectable-Cooler-Tray-FR-200.htm and the float rope. Everything can be connected via caribiner to each other and the float rope and you can hold the float rope so you do drift away. http://store.gailforcewatersports.com/Yellow-Float-Rope-FR-100.htm

I'd be interested in getting a few of those saddles if the price is right. @scokill does your buddy offer a JB discount? Maybe a group buy if people are interested?

We have some "saddles" like the lazy bunz above but they are a little different, the backs don't come up that high.
I weigh 190 and i still have to tread water to keep my chin out of the water, they were $30 each. They are good for my wife and lower weight people though.

That is a good question. I'll ask him. I know he has distributors but takes orders direct. I'm 182 now but have been as high as 235 over the years and these have no issues keeping you afloat. Stay tuned.

Thanks. I'll be here!
