I am looking for a current or retired member of the Florida National Guard. I need someone who can sponsor a Associate Membership at Camp Blanding. The only public access to Kingsley Lake is through Camp Blanding. They allow access to non military personnel by written sponsorhip. I was a member for about 10 years, and now want to get back in because we are having such flooding on the Suwannee River, so we need another place to go boating! Someone PLEASE help!

Looks like a cool place to go boating. Im not that far from there. Do you have to be national Guard, or can any veteran with an ID help you out?

If you have a military ID it should be sufficient...

You have to be National Guard or retired Guard to sponsor. Any active duty military can access the base just not sponsor an associate membership. The lake is beautiful, it is spring fed and has a campground and beaches.
