Free Navigation Charts

To add to list, it seems Navionics provides some visibility to the “Sonar” data that they collect for free.

 
Here is a website for some general ideas of depth and other features if you happen to be going somewhere you've never been boating before.

The i-boating app and maps are good. It is what I used when I bought my boat and brought it home. I was able to use it until I got a new phone, at which time Navionics switched to an affordable subscription model, so I changed too.
