Do Yamahas come with a filter to prevent objects getting into the fuel tank? I filled my 2022 212s from a 5 gallon fuel can and afterwards I noticed the rubber washer from the fuel nozzle cap was missing. It may have fallen into the fuel tank. I have a endoscope camera I could stick in there to see but wondered if any knew.

There's a strainer built into the fuel pump, which is located in the fuel pump.

If you're lucky, the washer may have gotten stuck in the check valve, located where the fuel fill hose meets the tank.

Most likely not a big deal. You could drain the tank as much as possible and then pull the fuel pump to get access to the tank. That being said, it'll most likely be OK.
