Garage heating suggestions needed

@HangOutdoors, the reminder about snow is a good one, as you don't want to get snow (or even worse, ice) into the unit. I don't want the unit hanging on the front of the house, but an elevated pad would be a good idea!

I just bought a 2 ton MRCOOL mini split for our garage for $1,400. that I found on Market Place. PO changed his plans and it was brand new in the boxes.

I unboxed everything today and having been in the HVAC field for 40+ years I will say that it looks to be very well built and fairly simple to install even for a novice.

Here is the finished install, the only thing I do not like is that the excess line needs to be coiled up but honestly it is pretty well hidden behind the unit. In regards to previous posts about shortening the lines, this cannot be done with the DIY line sets because the suction line is not a standard copper pipe. It more resembles a flexible gas line and I have never seen this used for a refrigerant piping application.
