Took the boat in to have hairline cracks checked on the stern right at the bottom of the wet storage. Yamaha gets to decide how to proceed. any other folks experience this? Pulled this little gem out of the impeller, after an overheat code on the starboard.

It has stayed the same in three hard seasons. I decided to ignore it.

Oh hell no. Dealer would be fixing that for sure in off season

Both on hatch covers, no I did not have them fixed. This is the first time I’m working on the boat this year I’ll let you know when I do something. The first one I figured we did and I did not notice. Now that I see 2 I figured maybe they messed up. I did not investigate it yet it looked like a foam core inside. I’ll look at it in depth tonight.

I have as well. Yamaha fixed after verifying an air void. I was on the hook for the repair if they stripped it down and didn't find the void.20190119_130600.jpg20190119_130605.jpg

Thanks for all the responses. My boat has been at the dealer for two days and no word yet. I am in Myrtle Beach SC so I have a few more weeks of season left barring any more hurricanes. Bought my AR in Charleston SC so about a 2 hour ride each way to the dealer. Hope Yama steps up.

same here!!! Yamaha warranty covered everything. I had them all over the boat. the bill was over 5K$. I took my boat for a wild ride couple times with rough sea, so it was expected in a new boat. You should be fine, yamaha will cover it. dont worry.

They will cover it but I am without the boat for about 4 weeks. did the stress cracks come back after repair?

No, they are completely gone. I already took it to open sea with high waves and they did not came back. My dealer only took a week to do the repairs, plus a radio remote replacement. 4 weeks seems like a lot

guess it must be the shop my dealer uses. Glad to know they didn't come back.
