Getting the most out of 2017 242X E-series stock stereo

Very helpful @Osric. What kind of oscilloscope are you using?

It is my Rigol DS1102E from my electronics hobby room. I'd never imagined using it on a boat (I'd never imagined owning a boat for real, actually).

I haven't upgraded any speakers yet, nor the sub. This year, with no guests at the lake, the boat has seen a lot less use than usual.
