Boat Stuff GPS Antenna Cover Replacement - White No Logo

This is a replacement cover for Yamaha part number F2D-U8K1L-00-00 also known as SANAV part number GM-88U.

It is a new design that includes an optional external seal. If you do not wish to use the external seal it is recommended to use silicone caulk to seal between the plastic case sections and around the heads of the screws. It is printed from PETG plastic which should hold up well to sun exposure and resist impact.

@Bruce Mine broke as many of us when one of my kids wondered what it was and twisted it.

Is it the entire plastic assembly or only the top cover? I'm not sure how to replace the cover without taking out the entire assembly.

It is the top which is the part that breaks most frequently.

I have bases as well if you need both. GPS Antenna Base Replacement

To disassemble you need to remove the two bolts from below then you will see four screws that go through the base into the top.

I can get it out on Monday. My post offices are already closed today and no Fedex or UPS until Monday in my area.

Priority Mail 2 to 3 day is $7.80, Priority Mail Express 2 day si $26.35. I believe that is less than UPS or Fedex would be for either service. It is 1 7x5 envelope that weighs 1.5 ounces from zip code 71968 if you want to check other options. I am headed to the lake but will check the forum tomorrow.

Sorry @Bruce but it won’t be me. I tried to replace the stock unit a few weeks ago but could not get it off. Long story but the end being I glued the puck in place a years ago. That stated, i won’t look at this again unless or until the stock unit breaks/cracks.

Before and after install pics. My OEM cover was not broken but had faded into a yellow color that did not look appealing to me. Install is quick and easy.

Are the electronics destroyed? I sell the top and bottom plastic sections if you still have the circuit board.

Yeah unfortunately is destroyed and NOBOBY has this part neither Yamaha … all of them back order for Months … any alternative?
