I use the taser to keep sneaky fingers from stealing samples, but I'm sure it will spark a fire in a pinch!

Nice. I did my first whole pig two weeks ago and it was a lot easier than I expected. I only got three hours of sleep, but everyone said it was awesome.

I couldn't eat any after only smelling smoke for 16 hours.
 
Just had leftover pulled pork...I made pulled pork enchiladas, spanish rice, and refried beans! It was really good. I smoked that pork on my Big Green Egg over a month ago! I did two whole butts and froze most of it. It really comes back perfect...I have a new appreciation for pork, being from a beef state!

No, I'm just impatient! Plenty of us Green Egg guys use a mapp torch to light their eggs!

Dang...the vultures done picked that pig apart Kelly! Agreed, recipes are needed in any bbq thread! Here is the pulled pork enchiladas...but I would leave out the bbq sauce and go heavier on the enchilada sauce next time.

@billyb ..Damn Son!! You did good. Never seen a cooker that small do whole hog( pig in this case). Must of been tough to flip.. What did you season it with?

I thought about flipping and decided not to flip. Seasoned with some rip rub. I was not concerned at all with presentation.

I came back to this thread to say we did bacon wrapped onion rings dipped in blooming onion sauce...and they were awesome.
