Has anyone replaced the connext screen with a larger better option?

My plan is to take apart the 7” connext housing on the AR250 (four bolts behind unit). Then have a new housing made that will hold two 7” monitors. Slide the Yamaha connext to one side and add a garmin 7” chart plotter. I spoke to a Yamaha tech, the housing definitely comes apart and the screen is just connected to a harness. My brother in law has a 3d print shop so it’s definitely doable.
Do you have an update on this? I'd love to see the progess!

I've always wondered was the connext just a screen or is it also the computer part? I know there's BCU's all over my boat. Even the ballast have their own computer controls.
