While working behind the helm to connect my new garmin I was wondering, does anyone spray the electrical connections behind there with some kind of corrosion inhibitor like CRC or something similar?

I keep a dehumidifier in my covered boat when not in use, so I don't have any problems with moisture, mildew, or corrosion. Also I am not in/near salt water. That being said, I would think there would be no down side to extra protection!
