Hose nozzle into the jet nozzle

Is there any harm that can happen from shooting water into the jet nozzle?

After scalloping yesterday, I had many weeds stuck in the nozzle. Once out of the water, I first attempted to use a stick to pull out the weeds. That took a bit, so I decided to shoot a stream of water in the each nozzle (the buckets were raised) at the impeller.

I just watched a video explaining that the intake is placed at the end of the nozzle (white piece).
