How Big is your . . . (wait for it) . . . Port Tach (2013/2014)?

I know this may be a strange request. . . but for those who have a 2014 or 2013 AR240 or SX240 could someone measure the size of the Port side tach and send a picture of what it looks like. I am trying to determine if I can use a 2014 or 2013 Tach on a 2010 AR240. The harnesses are the same between the 2010 -2014 boats for the Tachometers so I am hopeful they would all work and look the same. The 2010-2011 AR240 Tach's are hard to find.

Hi Tim, Thanks for responding. Knowing that information would help as well as it opens up the pool of potential replacement tachs . . . .the '12 port tach for some reason is also hard to find or not available as well. Ideally I'm targeting getting a 13 or 14. . . as they are a little cheaper and available. I suspect they are all the same tach's - maybe with just a different faceplate from 2010-2014 as they all use the same wiring harness. . . I suspect Yamaa had kept everything the same to get the last legs out of the pre-Connext design/inventory. I also keep looking to see if someone has deciphered the communication protocol and maybe I would switch to all digital . . . but that might be a longer term project. Thanks for helping.

Tim responded responded but the elusive 2013/2014 owner group has yet to raise its voice . . . so I changed the title of the thread (to make it a little more attention grabbing).

If someone with a 2013 or 2014 SX240 or AR240 could measure the size of your port tach it would help me out to replace my 2010 AR240 Port Tach. Thanks Jetboaters.

No worries. I looked at some 2014 For Sale Ar240's and the tachs look the same as the 2010 so I pulled the trigger on one. Thanks for offering. I'll let you know if it works as it may help others out as well for others I'm the sale situation. I suspect they are all the same up until when the Connect came since 2010. Enjoy your trip.
