How to enter “Float Mode” on 2019 212 Limited S?

We were curious about this too with our new 212s and found a few ways to do it after turning off the engines. 1st leaving a key(s) on, the Connext stays on at the Home screen like float mode does. It doesn't say float mode, but it seems to be in that mode. 2nd as @Hoyt found out, turn off the keys and when the system powers down, press the power button on the Fusion head unit to power up the tunes. No volume control at the joystick though so not super convenient if you're in the boat. Using the Fusion app on your phone works though. 3rd after the Connext powers down, turn the house battery off and back on, Connext lights up and the joystick works, and the keys are still in the off position, all functions work on the Connext this way.

I think with option 3 the connect and radio go off after a few minutes. That’s what we experienced anyway.
we just leave one key on.

That's not what we experienced. With the battery switched off and back on, we floated for a couple hours listening to tunes and no issues with the keys off. The Connext and radio only turned off when the keys are turned off like when you shut down the engines to float.

Adding a fourth way (found this after installing Ride Steady). Both batteries on and after both engines on, turn off both keys, turn one key on, wait for connext to boot, turn key off, connext stays on. *eye roll*

I'll have to try that one too...easier than turning the batteries off and back on.

Confirmed this works too if you want the screen on. If we're anchored, we turn the radio on at the Fusion head unit power button and use my phone with the Fusion-Link app to control volume and zones. Saves some battery with the Connext screen off. If just floating or anchored for lunch, turning a key on briefly to fire up the Connext works fine.
