I recently ordered Hydro Turf for my 2007 Sea Doo Islandia. I haven't used the carpeting it originally came with in several years. One question I had for anyone with experience installing it, especially in an Islandia. The Islandia has carpet snaps throughout the boat on the floor that can be easily removed by unscrewing them and pulling them out. There is a small hole left where it is removed. I assume it is ok to have those holes there and the Hydro Turf go over them, rather than install it with the snaps left underneath. Just wanted to see if someone could confirm for me. Thank you!

Fill the hole with 5200 (unless you want to do real gelcoat, but most just do 5200 or caulk). You don't want an open hole in the fiberglass, as water can get to the fibers and migrate along, doing damage to any structural wood you might have down there.
